Our Purpose

We are here to glorify God and to seek His kingdom and His righteousness in everything we do. Our desire is to see lives restored to God, hearts made right through repentance, and believers built up into a lifelong commitment to live for Him.

“But seek first the kingdom of God and his righteousness, and all these things will be added to you.” — Matthew 6:33 (ESV)

Grace Baptist Church exists to help men and women be reconciled to God and to live in a way that honors Him. We believe true restoration is found only in Christ, through obedience to His Word and submission to His Holy Spirit.

Our Conviction

At Grace Baptist Church, the Bible is preached as the only source of truth. We believe sanctification is the ongoing work of God through His Word, guided by His Holy Spirit who indwells the life of every believer.

Sin is not merely a mistake — it is rebellion against a holy God and must be repented of. Our lives are to be hidden in Christ, and our daily pursuit is righteousness through the guidance of the Holy Spirit.

To live godly is to deny self and to follow Christ. We are called to live with honesty before God — to stop lying to ourselves and to live in the freedom His truth provides.

Who We Are

• We use the ESV for clarity, accuracy, and faithfulness to the original Scriptures.
• We believe in the sovereignty of God — that He rules over all creation, works all things according to His purpose, and has never changed in His character, plan, or truth.
• We believe man is a free moral agent — accountable before God to repent, believe, obey, and walk in holiness.
• We believe God’s plan has been the same from the beginning — one unbroken redemptive purpose fulfilled in Jesus Christ.
• We are fundamental — holding to the historic, essential doctrines of biblical Christianity without compromise.
• We are Bible-believing — the Scriptures are our final and sufficient authority for all doctrine and practice.
• We are independent — governed locally under the headship of Jesus Christ.
• We worship toward God, not toward man — our focus is on pleasing Him rather than entertaining people.

Our Function Is Simple

The function of this church is simple: to glorify God. Our services are for the worship of a holy God, not man.

There are some things that may seem different about Grace Baptist Church:

• We do not pass the plate.
• We do not seek to fill seats — we want people to be called here.
• Our unity is in Christ and His Word, not in programs or experiences.
• We serve together as one body before the Triune God.
